Law on the construction and operation of the Kambarata hydropower plants.

This Law stipulates that methods of water management shall be based on national legislation and international agreements. The Government shall validate methods of water management of Kambarata and Toktogul water reservoirs taking into account their specific value. The methods of water management validated by the Government shall be reflected in all contracts for the construction, operation and management of waterworks. Contracts and agreements without clauses requiring the observance of methods of water management shall be considered invalid.
