Law No. 175 “On protection of public health against negative impact of tobacco.”

This Law regulates legal relations in the sphere of manufacturing, trade of tobacco and tobacco products, and also preventive arrangements for protection of health of the citizens of Kyrgyz Republic against negative impact of tobacco. The main purposes of this Law shall be to ensure preventive arrangements for protection of public health against negative impact of tobacco and tobacco products. Basic principles of state policy in the sphere of protection of public health against negative impact of tobacco and tobacco products shall be active public participation in protection of environment and public health against negative impact of tobacco and tobacco products.
