Law No. 22 “On fire safety”.

This Law establishes legal and organizational grounds for ensuring fire safety and establishes the sphere of competence of ministries, departments, institutions, organizations and enterprises, and also of the officials and citizens in the sphere of combating fires. In particular the Act establishes that in case of the outbreak of forest fires the authorized institution in the sphere of forest and hunting management shall be responsible for elaboration and application of forest fire extinguishing arrangements (Art. 20).
