Abstract
This Law sets forth the fundamentals of state regulation of international trade and establishes rights, duties and liability of state bodies in this sphere. The scope of this Law shall be promotion of international trade and efficient integration of the national economy to the global economy. National state bodies shall be responsible for: (a) certification of imported and exported commodities; (b) establishment of compulsory safety standards and criteria; and (c) determination of the modalities of import and export of genetic materials and hazardous waste. Restrictions or ban can be imposed on import and export of produce and commodities for protection of human life and health, protection of wild flora and fauna, and conservation of cultural heritage.
Entry into force notes
This Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.
