Law No. 43 amending Forest Code.

Article 3 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Forest legislation shall be directed at protection, conservation, reproduction of forests, ensuring sustainable and rational management thereof, with a view of objectives of efficient forest management affecting the State as a whole, conservation of biological diversity, ecosystem conservation, raising ecological and economic potential of forests, meeting the demand of the society for forest resources in accordance with scientifically substantiated multi-purpose forestry”.
