Ministerial Decree No. 116 validating the Regulation on the Ministry of Energy and Industry.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that the Ministry of Energy and Industry shall be central state executive body authorized to carry out state policy for the development of fuel and energy complex, including electric energy, gas and oil industry, coal, pipeline transportation of oil, gas, derivates thereof and renewable energy sources. The scope of the Ministry shall be elaboration and realization of common state policy in the sphere of fuel and energy complex. The Ministry shall carry out the following tasks: (a) elaboration of subsidies and incentives for energy efficiency and energy saving; and (b) state regulation in the sphere of fuel and energy complex ensuring stable energy supply to consumers.
