Ministerial Decree No. 123 validating the Regulation on State Agency on Environmental Protection and Forestry.

State Agency on Environmental Protection and Forestry shall be authorized state institution for implementation of policy and regulation of the relations in the sphere of environmental protection, ecological safety and nature management. Agency shall carry out the following tasks: (a) implementation of policy, registration and assessment of natural resources, including forest and hunting management; (b) performance of environmental audit with a view of preventing negative environmental impact. Agency shall carry out regulatory functions in the sphere of ecological, biological, chemical and radiation safety, collection of environmental fees, establishment of hunting and fishing quotas and guarding of protected areas.
