Ministerial Decree No. 135 validating the Regulation on State Sanitary, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Inspection.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that State Sanitary, Veterinary and Phytosanitary Inspection shall be state executive body authorized to carry out supervision and control related to sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary issues. The scope of Inspection shall be to ensure protection of human life and health, flora and fauna, and environment. The Inspection shall carry out the following tasks: (a) prevention, identification and suppression of offences in the sphere of sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary; (b) state supervision over compliance with sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary provisions; and (c) prevention of introduction and spreading of diseases common to animals and human beings, and also of pests.
