Ministerial Decree No. 290 validating Provisional Regulation on supply, consumption of natural gas and registration and metering thereof.

This Ministerial Decree regulates supply and utilization of natural gas and it shall be applicable on the whole national territory and it shall be compulsory for enterprises performing supply, transfer, distribution, trade, registration and metering of the consumption of natural gas. The scope of this Ministerial Decree shall be to ensure rational and efficient use of natural gas in the course of its processing, storage, supply, transfer (transportation), distribution and trade. Distribution, supply and trade of natural gas shall be regulated by contracts that must contain information on sub-consumers (in case of availability thereof) and on availability of natural gas reserves.
