Ministerial Decree No. 444 validating Technical Regulation “On safety of veterinary drugs”.

This Ministerial Decree sets forth compulsory safety requirements for all veterinary drugs imported to Kyrgyzstan or produced on the national territory, including processing, handling, storage, transportation, trade, application and recycling (destruction) thereof. Veterinary drugs put on trade must comply with the provisions of this Technical Regulation, must pass compliance assessment procedure and must be labelled with compliance mark. All veterinary drugs must be traceable and identifiable. Veterinary drugs authorized for internal trade must comply with drug quality and safety standards. Compliance assessment shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) state registration; (b) state veterinary supervision; and (c) compulsory compliance certification.
