Ministerial Decree No. 474 validating Technical Regulation “On safety of beverages”.

This Technical Regulation shall be used for protection of human life and health, flora and fauna, environmental protection and prevention of fraud and deceit of consumers of beverages. Its sets forth: (a) compulsory safety requirements for beverages; (b) requirements for processing, storage, transportation, internal trade and vending of beverages; (c) requirements for packaging and labelling of beverages; and (d) requirements for traceability and identification of beverages. It shall not be applicable to infant food. Traceability and identification of beverages shall be performed by the producer. Tables 1 and 2 contain microbiological safety indices set forth for beverages.
