Ministerial Decree No. 531 validating the Regulation on energetic certification of edifices.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of energetic certification of edifices and sets forth requirements and procedures for performing such certification. It also establishes minimum energetic efficiency requirements for new edifices and for edifices with renovated energetic efficiency. This Ministerial Decree contains formula and methods of calculation of energetic efficiency of edifices. Energetic efficiency shall be applicable to: (a) thermal and heating energy and hot water supply; (b) energy efficiency indices; and (c) indices for emissions of greenhouse gases.
