Ministerial Decree No. 536 validating the Regulation on State centre for environmental protection and ecological safety.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that State centre for environmental protection and ecological safety shall be subordinated to State Environmental and Forestry Agency operating under the jurisdiction of the Government. The scope of the State centre shall be assistance in ensuring ecological security and realization of the constitutional right of citizens to clean and healthy environment. State centre shall carry out the following tasks: (a) participation in the implementation of policy and regulation in the sphere of environmental protection and management of natural resources, and also registration and assessment of state of natural resources; and (b) international protection in the sphere of environmental protection and environmental security.
