Ministerial Decree No. 569 validating Technical Regulation “On safety of enriched flour”.

This Ministerial Decree establishes enriched flour safety requirements with a view of protection of human life and health and prevention of fraud and deceit by producer and traders of enriched flour misleading consumers. It shall be applicable to final product – enriched flour, and also to processing, handling, transport, storage, internal trade and vending thereof. Enriched flour should be traceable and for such purpose product identification shall be applicable. Enriched flour shall comply with the established food safety standards. Storage facilities for enriched flour shall be subject to regular mechanical cleaning, disinfection, disinfestations and deratization arrangements. Expiry date for enriched flour shall be established by the producer. Labels must contain information in both state and official languages.
