Ministerial Decree No. 696 validating the Regulation of special environmental and forest funds.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that Special Environmental Protection Funds shall be composed of the Republican environmental and forest protection fund and local environmental and forest protection funds subordinated thereto. Finances of the Republican environmental and forest protection fund shall be formed through: (a) 25 percent contributions from local funds; (b) profits from investments in environmental protection arrangements and grants; (c) voluntary contributions and donations; (d) environmental fees; (e) 10 percent of allowances from profits of the biosphere reserve “Issyk-Kul”; (f) purposeful expenditure for financing of environmental protection arrangements; and (g) other sources envisaged by the acting legislation.
