Ministerial Decree No. 792 validating Technical Regulation “On safety of infant food”.

The scope of this Technical Regulation shall be to ensure protection of life and health of children from hazardous impact of hazardous and dangerous factors originating in the course of processing, storage, transportation, trade and recycling of infant food, and protection of consumers. It establishes mandatory requirements for: (a) identification of infant food; (b) conformity assessment of infant food for compliance with the requirements of this Technical Regulation; and (c) packaging and labelling of infant food. Identification of infant food means definition of alimentary uses thereof and age groups of children it is destined for in accordance with information contained on label and consumer packaging, and/or manufacturer declaration.
