Abstract
This Ministerial Decree establishes that State Intellectual Property Service shall be the authorized state executive body subordinated to the Government carrying out functions in the sphere of protection of intellectual property rights. State Intellectual Property Service shall carry out the following tasks: (a) legal protection of the objects of intellectual property and traditional knowledge; (b) commercialization of intellectual property; and (c) development of the national patent system. State Intellectual Property Service shall carry out the following functions: (a) elaboration and implementation of national strategies and programmes; (b) international cooperation in the sphere of intellectual property; and (c) acceptance, examination, registration of applications related to intellectual property rights, and issuance of intellectual property certificates and patents.
