Order No. 1 of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Economy and Development validating the State Catalog of pesticides and agrochemicals authorized for use in the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of 2021-2030.

The Ministry validates the State Catalog of pesticides and agrochemicals authorized for use in the Kyrgyz Republic for the period of 2021-2030. Pesticides and agrochemicals are classified as follows: (a) insecticides and acaricides; (b) fungicides and seed disinfectants; (c) herbicides; (d) rodenticides; (e) defoliants and desiccants; (f) biological control agents; and (g) growth regulators of plants. It sets forth hygienic requirements for application of pesticides and agrochemicals, rules for the application thereof and imposes use restrictions. Catalog of pesticides and agrochemicals approved for use in Kyrgyz Republic, is an official document, which contains the list of pesticides and agrochemicals approved for use by citizens and legal entities in agriculture, including farming, forestry, communal and personal (homestead) farms, as well as basic regulations for the use of pesticides established during their registration tests. The basis for circulation (import into the Kyrgyz Republic, export from Kyrgyz Republic, manufacturing, trade, advertising, application, storage, transportation, disposal) of pesticides and agrochemicals is their state registration with subsequent inclusion in the State Catalog. Pesticides in the catalog are arranged in groups according to their purpose, within groups - in alphabetical order by the names of active substances. The names of the active substances of pesticides are indicated by nomenclature ISO or IUPAC. International name designations of active substances are given in Russian transcription. Information about pesticides is given in table form. Each container of a pesticide or agrochemical must be equipped with detailed recommendations on transportation, use and storage of the preparation, indicating the regulations for their use. Responsibility for proper storage of pesticides and agrochemicals, strict compliance with technology requirements and regulations for their application is assigned to agricultural producers, including collective farms and other organizations, as well as individuals using pesticides and agrochemicals. Since neither the registrant of pesticides and agrochemicals nor their manufacturer influence their storage and use by the consumer and cannot control the compatibility of their use with regulations, they are not responsible for the consequences of their improper storage and use.
