Order No. 197 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food on measures to improve activity of enterprises dealing with processing of agricultural products.

The Minister notes that it is necessary to keep the existing potential of production capacity in food processing industry from the complete destruction. In order to improve the processing of agricultural products in the Kyrghyz Republic, to increase its competitive ability, to extend the export to CIS and abroad, the Minister appoints Directorate on agricultural processing and marketing coordinator of the activity of economic entities irrespectively of their form of property, which are operating in food and processing industry, in the sphere of rendering them marketing, extension, technical services, for control of the quality control, in accordance with the attached list. The sphere of competence regards carrying out inventory of existing and newly organized enterprises for the processing of agricultural commodities at the national level; implementation of activity of the enterprises of the food processing industry as regards improvement of the quality of products, designing of new kinds of products and normative-technical documentation and carrying out activity regarding the introduction of new kinds of packages corresponding to the level of the world standards.
