Order No. 2 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection validating the Regulation on protection of fish stocks and regulation of fisheries.

This Order regulates artisanal and sport fishing that shall be carried out in accordance with fishing permits issued by the State Water and Fishery Inspection for payment. Quotas shall be set by the State Water and Fishery Inspection in conformity with recommendations of scientific research organizations. Terms and conditions of fisheries shall be regulated by contracts. Trade of illegal catch shall be prohibited. The following shall be prohibited: (a) fishing without fishing permit; (b) fishing in prohibited areas, during prohibited fishing periods, catch of prohibited fish species and undersize small fry; (c) excess of established quota; and (d) use of prohibited fishing gear and prohibited fishing methods.
