Abstract
These Veterinary and sanitary norms and requirements define measures for veterinary and sanitary safety when organizing and maintaining pond, basin, pasture and cage aquaculture. Veterinary and sanitary norms and requirements are mandatory for all fish farms, regardless of their form of ownership, as well as for bodies (institutions) included in the state veterinary service system. The design, construction and reconstruction of fish hatcheries and fish farms are carried out and agreed upon with the authorized state body in the field of veterinary medicine. Control over compliance with these norms and requirements is assigned to the authorized state body in the field of veterinary medicine. For breeding and growing commercial fish, it is allowed to use only reservoirs and water sources that correspond to the pH, salt and gas composition of the water, and are free from infectious and invasive diseases to which the farmed fish species are susceptible. All ponds and pools on farms must have an independent water supply and hydraulic structures that prevent the penetration of weed fish and other aquatic organisms that carry fish diseases. Producers of fish imported from other fish farms must be kept in quarantine ponds for 30 days at a temperature of at least 12 °C. Transportation of fish, fertilized eggs and invertebrate aquatic organisms for the purposes of breeding, rearing and acclimatization must be carried out only with a veterinary certificate.
