Order No. c6 of the Ministry of Ecology and Emergency Situations validating the Regulation on waste management.

This Ministerial Decree validates the Regulation on waste management, classification of waste, identification and codification of waste. It shall be applicable to industrial, agricultural and domestic waste. Composition, location, amount, aggregate state, toxicological, ecological and hazardousness characteristics shall be subject to mandatory classification. Complete waste classification code shall be composed of 11 denominations. Storage, transportation, treatment and burial of waste shall be carried out in conformity with hazardousness risk class of waste which shall be determined in accordance with toxicity degree of industrial waste. Waste disposal shall be carried out by three methods: (a) burning; (b) neutralization; and (c) burial.
