Order No. P-69 of the National Agency on Local Self-government validating the Recommendation on management of municipal waste.

This Order shall be used as guidelines by local self-government and shall regulate relations in the sphere of management of municipal waste with a view of reduction of waste formation, conservation of natural resources, raising efficiency of waste management and prevention of negative impact of waste upon public health and environment. Recommendations shall regulate collection, transportation, classification, recycling, treatment of municipal waste in urban areas, and also registration and movement of waste. It also regulates management of hazardous waste pertaining to municipal waste. Waste subject to recycling and subsequent reuse shall not be authorized for burial.
