Program for the establishment and development of trade and logistics centers for agricultural commodities in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2023.

Program for the establishment and development of trade and logistics centers for agricultural commodities in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2019-2023 has as its scope development of agricultural commodities market and increase of export of agricultural commodities with a view of ensuring food security and growth of income of the rural population form export of agricultural commodities.
The scope of this Program is to provide favorable conditions for agricultural producers by increasing their competitiveness and export potential of Kyrgyz Republic. In order to achieve the objectives it shall be necessary to undertake the following measures: (a) to create new trade and logistics centers, introduction of new technologies, reconstruction and modernization of storage facilities in the regions; (b) improvement of regulatory legal acts and financial and credit support mechanism; (c) creation and improvement of plant quarantine laboratories, providing them with necessary technical resources; (d) increase of storage facilities that meet international quality standards, as well as their production and processing volumes; and (e) attraction of investments and development of human resources for trade and logistics centers management, training of specialists in production, storage, processing and distribution of agricultural commodities.
Implementation of this Program will ensure: (a) increase the competitiveness of domestic goods; (b) development and growth of year-round production, storage of agricultural products of plant growing (greenhouses and hot-houses); (c) expansion of supplies of agricultural commodities and products of their processing to domestic and foreign markets; and (d) increase of income and employment of rural population, preservation and creation of new high-tech jobs.
