Regulation on Government Service on Quarantine of Plantings in the Kyrgyz Republic.

This Regulation is divided into 6 Parts, i.e. General provisions (I); Duties of the Government Service on Quarantine of Plantings of the Kyrgyz Republic (II); Rights of Government Services on Quarantine of Plantings of the Kyrgyz Republic (III); Relationships, Connections (IV); Management of the Government Service on Quarantine of Plantings of the Kyrgyz Republic (V); Financing of the Government Service on Quarantine of Plantings of the Kyrgyz Republic (VI).
In accordance with the Law on Quarantine of Plantings in the Kyrgyz Republic as of 27 June 1996, No. 26 and the Charter on Quarantine of Plantings in the Kyrgyz Republic the agencies of the government service on quarantine of plantings are entrusted with protection of the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic from penetration of pest, diseases of plants and weeds from foreign countries, and carrying out of quarantine measures on its territory. The activity on quarantine of plantings in the Kyrgyz Republic is performed by the Single Government Service on Quarantine of Plantings (Kyrgyzgoskarantin), the Chief Government Inspectorate on quarantine of plantings with the Republican Quarantine Laboratory, the Republican fumigation detachment and Bishkek City Government Inspectorate on quarantine of plantings; the Government oblast with regional (inter-regional) offices on quara ntine of plantings; and offices on quarantine of plantings on the border with China and in airports. The second paragraph of the first Part sets out the duties of the Chief Government Inspectorate on Quarantine of Plantings.
