Abstract
The text of the Regulation is divided into 6 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Main Objectives (II); Functions of the State Veterinary Department (III); Rights of the State Veterinary Department (IV); Management of the State Veterinary Department (V); Veterinary Council of the Department (VI).
The State Veterinary Department is a body providing a unified veterinary management in the Kyrghyz Republic and shall be set up under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food as its structural subdivision as provided for by the Law of On Veterinary Science. The Department shall be headed by the Director General simultaneously acting as the Senior State Veterinary Inspector of the Kyrghyz Republic. With the object of qualitative settlement of urgent and important issues of the veterinary development a Veterinary Council under the Department consisting of the representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, the State Veterinary Department as well as scientists and skilful veterinarians-practitioners shall be set up.
