Abstract
General vision of strategic development in the field of gender equality for the period up to 2030: by 2030, the Kyrgyz Republic is a state where women and men, girls and boys have equal opportunities in choosing a life strategy based on education and upbringing, free from stereotypes and discrimination, allowing them to successfully compete in the labor market and realize their potential, participate equally and lead in the life of society without gender-based violence.
To achieve the goal, it is necessary to solve problems in the following priority areas: (a) expanding women's economic opportunities; (b) cultural policy and functional education; (c) strengthening protection from gender discrimination and fair justice; (d) promoting gender parity in decision-making and developing women's political participation; and (e) regulatory policy.
The priority tasks in the area of women's economic opportunities are: (a) reducing the number of economically inactive women of working age by involving them in labor activity; (b) developing women's entrepreneurship; (c) creating the conditions necessary to ensure decent work; (d) increasing the legal and financial literacy of women; and (e) introducing gender aspects into climate change adaptation policies.
Expected results - (1) the priority tasks in the area of women's economic opportunities are: (a) reducing the number of economically inactive women of working age by involving them in labor activity; (b) developing women's entrepreneurship; (c) creating the conditions necessary to ensure decent work; (d) increasing the legal and financial literacy of women; and (e) introducing gender aspects into climate change adaptation policies; (2) increasing the number of women with the necessary knowledge to start and grow a business; and (3) women, especially those living in rural areas, will become less vulnerable to the risks associated with climate change.
