Abstract
The halal industry is a field of activity that complies with Islamic principles, including a set of methods, processes and materials aimed at the production, maintenance and operation of halal foodstuffs within the established requirements of halal standards. Halal tourism is a type of tourism that complies with the principles and requirements of halal standards.
The Kyrgyz Republic is a secular state and all standards related to product safety, provision of services, including tourism, are regulated primarily by technical safety standards and halal standards.
The scope of this Concept is to develop a favorable environment in the field of halal tourism, to determine its main directions of development and to promote it in the international market of tourism services.
The first priority should be the development of halal tourism and an increase in the number of tourists. The second priority is to improve the infrastructure of halal tourism, equip domestic enterprises providing halal services with modern technical means. Improvement of the system for assessing the compliance of halal services (procedures) with established halal standards, training the population to work in the field of halal tourism. The third priority is the use of modern technologies and marketing tools to promote halal tourism. The fourth priority is the development of halal tourism in combination with other types of recreation (cultural, sports, ecotourism, etc.), the formation of a single tourist space for tourists from different countries of the world and the expansion of the geography of tourist routes.
Expected results: (a) to use effectively internal resources to form a high-quality halal tourism product; (b) to ensure the promotion of the national tourism product in the domestic and foreign markets; (c) to strengthen the country's image by creating a single national halal tourism brand of the Kyrgyz Republic, based on it, tourism brands of the regions, based on the specifics of each region; and (d) to stimulate the participation of tourism organizations in promoting their tourism products at international tourism events.
