Abstract
These Veterinary norms and requirements establish requirements for the planning and creation of buffer zones between pond and basin fish farms, industrial enterprises, livestock complexes, cattle burial grounds, settlements, agricultural land, etc. These Veterinary norms and requirements are intended for fishery enterprises, regardless of the form of ownership, those carrying out aquaculture in ponds and pools, as well as for officials exercising state veterinary supervision/control. Control over compliance with these norms and requirements is assigned to the authorized state veterinary body. When carrying out veterinary and sanitary measures in fish farms, the features of various types of farming and aquaculture facilities (types of fish grown in aquaculture) are taken into account. It is prohibited to build and operate fish farms by blocking watercourses (with the exception of previously built river-bed, girder ponds), protective dams, it is permitted only by draining water, without causing damage to hydrography, forest plantations, pastures, preventing soil degradation and pollution of water resources. Fish farms must take measures to prevent the penetration of all types of native fish into fish-breeding structures (ponds, pools), as well as other aquatic animals, aquatic plants and the escape of aquaculture species.
