Abstract
This Decision provides for the creation of the Agro-product Export Promotion Commission and defines its composition.
The Commission will have the following duties: to study the requirements of domestic markets aimed at directing farmers to produce their agricultural products in accordance with market requirements; to study formalities and conditions of the international markets to serve exportation of agricultural products and agro-industry; to look for domestic and foreign markets in order to export agricultural products and agro-industry; to attract, promote and encourage local and foreign investment relating to agricultural crops and agro-industry; to develop water supply plans, review opportunities of providing capital, give instructions on crops seeds, use of fertilizers and techniques for planting crops, and determine crops areas; to select sites and organize experiments relating to producing agricultural crops and agro-industry at any appropriate location; appropriately enable the cultivation of crops within the geography/area where irrigation systems are available and in line with market requirements; and to report on work activities of the commission to the Head of the Royal Government.
