Abstract
This Law sets forth the date of the implementation of the Civil Code promulgated in 2007. It lays down detailed provisions for the proper application of the Civil Code. Transitional measures are laid down too (see article 5). Provisions and definitions on certified instruments and notarial documents are laid down for the proper application of different rules of the Code. Article 12 defines the concept of « publi notice » as to the implementation of article 191 of the Code on ownership, whereas article 13 implements article 138 of the Code on rights of land owner. Further articles 14, 15 and 43 lay down implementing rules in matter of possession, acquisition of ownership and usufruct respectively. Article 80 lays down provisions amending the Land Law 2001, namely concerning State private property, easement and co-ownership. Amendments are laid down to the Law on family and marriage too.
