Abstract
This Regulation (Prakas) determines internal rules for all slaughterhouses to comply with in order to ensure the hygiene of animals, meat and animal products aimed at maintaining food safety and public health.
The internal rules shall provide for matters related to: hygiene of slaughterhouses; sanitation of equipment-material for animal slaughter and process order in slaughterhouses; hygiene and welfare of animals prior to slaughtering; hygiene of meat and meat products; cleaning and sanitation of staff, workers and job performers in slaughterhouses; clothes for performing jobs in slaughterhouses; etc.
