Royal Decree NS/RKT/0606/248 on Creation of National Authority to Protect and Develop National Cultural Pleasant Site of Preah Vihear Temple.

This Royal Decree provides for the creation of a National Authority to Protect and Develop National Cultural Pleasant Site (NAPDNCPS) and defines its internal organization.
The NAPDNCPS of Preah Vihear temple shall have the mission to direct, organize and develop four tourism zones.
This Authority may: enter into agreement on annual programs with national and international organizations; enter into agreement with provincial authorities wishing eventually to prepare urban planning, develop rural area and provide other services; cooperate with every institute, other organizations and the national and international community.
The NAPDNCPS of Preah Vihear temple shall be in charge of protecting, preserving and managing pleasant sites of Preah Vihear temple and shall have exclusive responsibility in organizing all works within the premises of this area except any obligation in relation to border affairs.
