Abstract
This Sub-Decree No. 103 ANKr/BK amends the Sub-Decree No. 27 ANKr/BK established in 1999.
Water pollution sources are classified into 3 types: 1. A wastewater discharge license shall be obtained from the Ministry of Environment if the premise generates wastewater (excluding cooling water) more than 40 cubic meters per day, including production of cloth, rubber products (except tire), ceramics, cement, furniture and etc.. 2. A wastewater discharge license shall be obtained from the Ministry of Environment if the premise generates wastewater (excluding cooling water) more than 20 cubic meters per day, including livestock farms, distilleries, production of food products, textile products, pulp and paper, etc.. 3. A wastewater discharge license shall be obtained from the Ministry of Environment regardless of the amount of wastewater, including mining, production of chemical products, metal products, machinery, automobiles and parts, waste management, power plants, etc. In addition, the Sub-Decree specifies a new general effluent standard.
