Abstract
The Kiribati Development Plan is a national policy with a multi-sectoral approach. The timeframe of the policy is 4 years between 2008 and 2011. This policy lays down broad national and sectoral strategies to achieve economic growth in the long term. Six broad priority issues of this policy are: (I) human resource development, (II) economic growth and poverty reduction, (III) health, (IV) environment, (V) governance, and (VI) infrastructures.
