Abstract
This Act amends the Public Utilities Ordinance by inserting a new subsection section 6(1)a so as to restrict the exclusive right of the Public Utilities Board to generate and supply electricity in any electricity supply area assigned to it under section 6(1) of the Ordinance. Section 6(1) shall not apply to electricity generated, transformed, transmitted or distributed by solar power.
