Abstract
This Act, consisting of 60 articles, concerns the sale and consumption of liquor and alcoholic beverages, and the issuance of related licences. Matters covered by this Act include: provisions with regard to granting and renewal of licences; right of appeal in case of refusal of application; hotel and restaurant licences; sale of liquors and beers at certain public parks; penalty for selling liquor without licence; penalty for violating terms of licence; penalty for permitting gambling or drunkenness on premises; penalty for buying liquor from any unlicensed dealer or person; penalty for liquor consumption in premises not licensed for same; penalty in case of excess in quantity and strength of spirits is found; penalty for selling liquor injurious to health; inspection of premises.
