Saint Kitts and Nevis Gender Equality Action Plan 2022-2027.

The Saint Kitts and Nevis Gender Equality Policy and Action Plan (GEPAP) 2022-2027 is the Government’s comprehensive statement of intent and its blueprint for achieving gender justice for all. The Policy defines the Government’s political will and commitment to protect Constitutional rights, including gender equality for all and the empowerment of girls and women to inclusive, sustainable growth and development for all. The Vision of the Policy is: a gender equal society in which women and men, boys and girls realise their full potential in both their public and private lives and can contribute equally to and benefit equally from social, political, economic and environmental development. The Mission of the Policy aims at achieving gender equality, as a human right, to manage development and guarantee equal access and enjoyment for all, in accordance with national laws and regional and international treaties. The Policy provides detailed actions and measures to achieve gender equality across the following policy domains: agriculture, fisheries, food security, environment and climate change, education for sustainable development, health and well-being.
