Abstract
This Ordinance provides for the establishment of the Water Board. The Board shall control, manage, maintain and supervise all watercourses and waterworks in the distribution area ("the Colony") and shall provide an adequate water supply to consumers (sect. 8). The Board may, with approval of the Administrator-in-Council, make regulations relating to matters listed in section 10. The Board may levy water service rates (sect. 12). The Legislative Council may, from time to time, by resolution, declare that any watercourses shall be subject to the provisions of this Ordinance (sect. 16). (26 sections, two Schedules)
