Law on Appellations of Origin of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

This Law makes provisions for appellations of origin of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. The Law consists of 5 Chapters: Fundamental Principles; Registration Request of Appellation of Origin; Examination for Registration of Appellations of Origin; Protection of Right of Appellations of Origin; Guidance and Control on Matters of Appellations of Origin. Article 7 states that the State promotes exchange and cooperation with foreign governments and international organizations in the area of appellations of origin.
