Act on Fostering of and Support for Next Generation Farmers or Fishers and Young Farmers or Fishers.

The purpose of this Act is to guide next generation farmers or fishers and young farmers or fishers for their stable settlement in agricultural or fishing villages and contribute to sustainable development of agricultural or fishing societies through systematic production of workforce for agriculture or fisheries.
The State and local governments shall establish and implement a comprehensive policy necessary for fostering competitive next generation farmers or fishers. The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries shall establish a master plan for policies on the fostering of next generation farmers and fishers. The Act further makes provisions for: support for education programs of schools and other institutions on agriculture or fisheries, support for employment of young farmers or fishers, support for education of next generation farmers or fishers, etc.
