Act on the Management of Water and Support of Residents in the Yeongsan and Seomjin River Basins.

The purpose of this Act is to improve the water quality of the Yeongsan, Seomjin and Tamjin river systems by efficiently promoting the improvement of water quality of water sources and resident support business and properly managing water resources and pollutants in upstream regions of the relevant river systems. The text consists of 42 articles sections divided into 9 Chapters as follows: General provisions (I); Designation, management of riparian zones (II); Operation of total pollution load management system (III); Strengthening management of wastewater discharge facilities (IV); Conduct of resident support business (V); Facilitation of installation of environmental infrastructure facilities (VI); Security and management of financial resources (VII); Supplementary provisions (VIII); Penal provisions (IX).
