Act on Origin Labeling of Agricultural and Fishery Products.

The purpose of this Act is to protect producers and consumers by inducing fair trade and guaranteeing the right of consumers to be informed by having the producers indicate the country of origin and manage the distribution history of agricultural and fishery products and the processed products thereof, etc. in an appropriate and reasonable manner. This Act shall apply to labeling of the place of origin of agricultural and fishery products or the processed products thereof prior to other Acts.
