Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to protect persons engaged in agriculture and fisheries and to contribute to the stabilization of business management in agriculture and fisheries and the improvement of productivity. The text consists of 25 Articles.
The Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs shall have the authority to administer services related to safety insurance for farmers, and the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries shall have the authority to administer services related to safety insurance for fishers. The Act further makes provisions for: other matters necessary for safety insurance for indemnifying farmers and fishers from harm caused by injuries, diseases, disabilities, or death befalling farmers, fishers, and agricultural or fishery workers in the course of agricultural or fishery work, and the prevention of work accidents.
