Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to contribute to securing the safety of marine transportation and improving the efficiency of navigation of ships by installing navigational aids and managing the same in a reasonable and efficient manner. The text - consisting of 44 articles - deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: installation and management of aids to navigation; management of private aids to navigation; protection of aids to navigation; development and inspection of equipment and supplies; supplementary provisions; penal provisions.
Entry into force notes
The present Act shall enter into effect on 31 July 2009.
