Amendment to Implementation Rules of Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control.

This Amendment to the Implementation Rules of Implementation Rules of Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control is issued by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). In order to protect consumers' right to know, when imported food is suspended or the ban on imports is lifted, the information of relevant overseas production enterprises and factories will be disclosed on the imported food information platform. The main contents of information to be disclosed includes: names and locations of overseas production enterprises and factories, country of production, type of product, etc.
