Electrical Technology Management Act.

The purpose of this Act is to contribute the development of the national economy and secure the safety of the public by promoting the research and development of electrical technology and efficiently utilizing and managing it, so as to improve the level of electrical technology and to ensure the appropriate installation of electric facilities.
The Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy shall establish a basic plan for the promotion of electrical technology in order to promote the research and development of electrical technology and efficiently utilize the outcomes thereof. The Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy shall also provide guidance and support to an institute or organization which conducts the research and development of electrical technology for the promotion of electrical technology.
