Abstract
The purpose of this Decree is to prescribe matters necessary for the enforcement of the Hot Spring Act.
The Special Metropolitan City Mayor, the Metropolitan City Mayor or the Do governor may designate a hot spring resource protection district as provided for in article 2. Qualification criteria for expert institutions on hot springs are formulated in article 3. Procedures for the designation of hot spring hole preservation areas are defined in article 4. A development plan for a hot spring shall be set up within two years from the date of designation of the hot spring resource protection district (art. 5). An application shall be submitted to the head of Si/Gun/Gu to obtain permission to excavate land, to install power-driven equipment, to develop underground water, and to utilize hot spring (arts. 7-10). Fees and fines are provided for in articles 15 and 16.
