Enforcement Decree of the Special Act on Assistance to Farmers, Fishermen following the Conclusion of Free Trade Agreements.

The purpose of this Decree is to provide for matters delegated by the Special Act on Assistance to Farmers, Fishermen, etc. Following the Conclusion of Free Trade Agreements and those necessary for the enforcement thereof. The text – consisting of 23 articles – provides, amongst other things, for: standards, procedures for formulating or amending comprehensive measures to support farmers and fishermen; standards and methods for estimating damage to agriculture, fishery; ceiling on direct compensation for losses and damage; payment criteria of subsidies for discontinuance of business; plan for investment and loan to support farmers and fishermen; management of surplus funds; organization and operation of committees for supporting farmers, fishermen.
