Abstract
The purpose of this Decree is to prescribe matters mandated by the Wildlife Protection and Management Act and matters necessary for enforcing said Act.
A master plan for protection of wildlife shall include: 1.Matters concerning the current status and prospects, investigation and research on wildlife; 2.Matters concerning the investigation into actual conditions of inhabitation of wildlife; 3.Matters concerning the research on diseases of wild animals and measures to control their diseases; 4.Matters concerning setting of the basic direction and objectives of protection of endangered wildlife; 5.Matters concerning the major tasks and policies to be promoted to protect endangered wildlife; etc. The Decree further provides for: mid- and long-term measures for the conservation of endangered wildlife; scope of scientific research; etc.
